It could be, I don't really know so much of that side of my family. If you send me more information, I can forward it to my grandmother and see if it fits.

My grandmother was born in Ujvedek.  She married my grandfather and moved to Hungary.  One of her children was also born there thought my mother was born in Hungary.  I only know that my mother remembers as a child going to see her grandmother in Ujvedek when she was dying.  Could we be related.  I have the address that my grandmother's family lived at in Ujvedek.  My e-mail address is akdawson98@aol.com

Re: klichanovo tchecoslovaquie

My great-grandmother was named originally Chaya Zlata Friedman. She married my great grandfather, Mordechai Klein, to become Chaya Zlata Klein. From that marriage she had two children, Reuven Chaim (Rudolph) Klein who was my grandfather and Faigy Klein (later to become Steg). Upon the death of my great grandfather, she married a man by the name of Shlomo Mermelstein and they lived in Klyachanovo. Upon Chaya Zlata's death, Shlomo Mermelstein married another Chaya (who I beleive her last name was also Klein). Shlomo Mermelstein had previously married a woman named Rivkah Leah who died first, coming to a total of three wives. He had children with each of these.

I don't know much information about the FRIEDMAN side of the family, but from what I know Chaya Zlata Friedman's parents were Eliezer and Devorah Friedman. Devorah Friedman's original last name was Eckstein and her family is reputed to have descended from the Noam Elimelech.
