Re: The JewishGen Family Finder:

My father is a son of Reuven Chaim Klein (Rudy-baci, his sister was Feige neni, the mother of Mordche Steg) who was the son of R' Mordechai Klein and Mrs. Chaya Zlata Friedman. After the death of R' Mordechai, Mrs. Klein nee Friedman married R' Shlomo Mermelstein. After she died, Reb Shlomo Mermelstein married his third wife, Chaya, and from that union your grandfather, R' Moshe Aharon Mermelstein was born. Maybe I confused you with another Shloime Rosenberg from our family. Check out the family tree at http://kleins.100megsfree5.com/ if you go to http://kleins.100megsfree5.com/backup.html and scroll down to October 29, 2005, you can see a family tree that Steven Schwartz made for our mispacha.

I apologize, the phone number I gave you two was to
the Yeshiva's dorms and the extension was for the
student voicemail, that explains the loop, the proper
number is (02) 541-0988 ext. 6545 but anyways now that
I realized my mistake and checked my email to reply to
you anyways, you don't have to call me because I
received the number from both of you via email. So
basically, I'd like to thank you both for sending me
the number, and apologize for giving you my wrong
number.

Reuven Chaim Klein is not such a common name, so having such a name on your family tree would imply a link between our families. I'd like to ask if you have any more information about this "Reuven Chaim Klein" on your website besides his father's name. I apologize for taking so long to respond, but alas I
have been very busy. I am related to a Mordechai Steg
from Boro Park through his mother, the late Mrs.
Faigey Steg nee Klein who was my paternal
grandfather's sister. I do not know much about this
Steg family, but I will G-d willingly see my Steg
cousin this week and will ask him.

I noted on your genealogy tree mention of these
families. Are you aware of any such relationships?

Hi, I am researcher of Jewish Genealogy. I have been informed by a fellow researcher that your father is named "Reuven Chaim Klein" like my name. I would like to explore the possibility of a relation between our families. My family descends from Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein (from the Munkatch area), author of the book Shenos Chaim, a commentary on Rabbeinu Yerucham. I have a website detailing the findings of some of my genealogical inquiries, please see http://kleins.100megsfree5.com

YALKUT EINOT NOAM – a descendants list of the Rabbi R' ELIMELECH,  222 years to his passing away

Do you a Rabbi Meilech's descendant?

Today is 21 of ADAR – The Remembrance Day for Rabbi Elimelech of Lezajsk – author of "NOAM  ELIMELECH", 222 years to his passing away.  A preliminary draft list of the descendants was prepared (in Hebrew), includes most of the descendants names of the 7 early generations.

The goal of this project is to assist family members, who have a tradition about being descendants of the "Noam Elimelech" without clear and direct link. Also, to increase the knowledge for others descendants who'd like to study their roots, and to memorize the descendents who were perished during the SHOA.

All descendants of the "Noam Elimelech" are welcome to contact us for receiving the YALKUT. Please write to ENoam@013.net.il, and add detailed information about your family tradition for being a descendant of Rabbi Elimelech.

Best wishes.

The descendants of the NOAM ELIMELECH, who are studying the family roots. Israel

I also visited Mrs. Beinhorn when I was visiting Eretz Yisroel two years ago, she actually requested that I send to her all of my collected information about the family from my website, but once I came back home, I completely forgot about doing so. Do you have her address that I could mail this information to? I remember it was something Malachei Yisroel?

Perhaps you can also help me find out how exactly the Shenos Chaim was a descendant of the TaZ and ReMa, and which wife of the TaZ (i.e. was the Shenos Chaim a descendant of the TaZ's wife who was the daughter of the BaCh, or the other wife). .

As far as I have in my research, the Shenos Chaim did not have a daughter named Rochel. He had sons named Tzvi Dov, Binyamin Eliezer, and Yerucham, and he had daughters named Rivkah and Chana. Perhaps he had more, but I don't have any information regarding any other children that he fathered. Nonetheless, perhaps if you search my website http://www.myhomeloancompany.com/kleins then perhaps you can find some information.

Hello,

I am trying to find information about a daughter of the Shenos Chaim who was called Rochel, who was apparently married to R Efroim Menashe Taub and they lived in a village Harsfalva near Munkatch
They had a son Shimon Boruch who lived in munkatch, and his son Moshe Yerucham Taub lives in Brooklyn and was named Yerucham after his uncle R Yerucham Klein
Do you have any information about this
