It's very hard to get people to donate to these kinds of causes because most people who want to give tzedaka want to give to living poor people, not kevarim. From what I understand, only the biggest gvirim would be donating to these types of causes, so I'm not sure what to tell you because I'm not connected with such people. But one idea possibly worth pursuing is getting in touch with the HERZOG family (as in Baron Herzog) because they are also connected to the REICHENTHAL family.

Dear Rabbi Klein,
Yasher Koach for getting back to me.
I've been working on locating and preserving the old Jewish cemetery in Tallós (today Tomášikovo, Slovakia), where our great-grandmother, רחל בת הר' אליהו, wife of הר' פנחס כהן (Roza Kohn, née Reichenthal), who passed away on June 16, 1924, is believed to be buried.
I personally visited the cemetery site in March 2025. Sadly, it's now a plowed field, with no visible matzeivos or fence.
I'm attaching an old photograph from my Bobby showing the cemetery as it once looked, together with pictures from my March 2025 visit.
Baruch Hashem, we've made significant progress. We've obtained historical cadastral maps clearly identifying the cemetery and its access road. We've also confirmed that the land is still owned by the Federation of Jewish Communities in Slovakia.
I've been in contact with the municipality, government officials, historians, and Jewish organizations. There is willingness to cooperate and help protect the cemetery.
The immediate next step is a professional land survey, with an estimated budget of €800. This would establish the cadastral property boundaries and help us plan the next steps, though the historical burial boundaries may require further investigation.
This is only the first step. We don't yet know what the entire project will cost. We'll have a better understanding as the necessary work is assessed.
Right now, we need a Nachshon willing to sponsor the initial €800 and help get this important mitzvah moving.
Do you know someone who might want to take this on? It would be a tremendous zechus for our family and for all those buried there.
Yasher Koach!
Mordechai
